What to expect at the show
For serious boat buyers or attendees who simply like to browse, the Miami Boat Show hosts over 1,000 companies who display their latest boating products. The show is located on Virginia Key at the Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin, under Florida sunshine and surrounded by blue sparkling ocean. An endless view of vessels fill the docks with the industry’s finest leisure crafts for any need – from dinghies to super yachts and everything in between.
But boaters can see even more than boats themselves in the Miami Marine Stadium. Propulsion systems, drives, controls and numerous marine products are on display here to customize your boating experience with advanced technology and diverse options.

What to do in Miami
If you get the chance during the boat show, visiting Miami Beach is a staple to-do item on this city’s checklist. It is one of the best spots in the area to get your fill of sunshine, vivid ocean views and an iconic atmosphere. The Art Deco District is near Miami Beach, where over 900 historic buildings are classic Floridian stucco architecture – painted in pastels pinks and baby blues. You can participate in guided walking tours or go solo to view the nostalgic neighborhood from the 1930s.
This immersive experience offers over 150 popular shops, 12 renowned restaurants and a two-story open atmosphere complex. Bayside Marketplace is one of the most visited tourist attractions in downtown Miami. It is located right on the water where local taxi services drop off guests by boat to experience live music, Latin influence and even boat tours.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
If you’re able to leave Downtown for a few hours, the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens give you a new way to experience extravagance in Miami. Spanish and Italian inspiration are the foundation of this early 20th century home. Thirty-four of the 70 rooms hold antique paintings, furniture and décor from the locations all over Europe. However, the 10 acre gardens boast to some of the area’s most spectacular horticultural beauties that are said to resemble the decadence of Versailles’ gardens, but with a Cuban flair.
